JD Weekly Email - Week #5

Hello JD families!

Congratulations to all swimmers who competed at this morning’s Mock Meet. Everyone swam great races! Additionally, well done to all swimmers for this past week. Here is this week’s look at a glance:

WEEKLY FOCUS
This week, our groups will continue focusing on developing and perfecting their freestyle and backstroke swimming. It is quite important to make it out to as many practices as possible.

SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
This week’s swimmers of the week have shown dedication to the sport, outstanding effort and great attitude within our practices. Keep up the great work!

POSTERS AND CHEERS NIGHTFRIDAY, JUNE 2
In preparation for the Kigoos Icebreaker Meet this weekend, it is a tradition that swimmers from all groups make posters and practice cheers the Friday prior. On Friday, June 2, the JD 1s and JD 2s will have a combined practice from 3:30-4:30pm. After, they will have time to make posters from 4:30-5:00pm. All swimmers are also invited to take part in cheers from 5:30-5:45pm.
